The 500mm Strainer Cover is a simple but effective accessory designed to help keep your water tank cleaner by limiting the amount of debris and leaf material that can blow or wash into the strainer opening.

Finished in black, this cover is made to fit standard 450mm strainers, such as the STRAINBLK450 model. It adds an extra layer of protection to your tank’s filtration system and is easy to install—making it a smart addition to any rainwater harvesting setup.

While the strainer cover reduces the entry of larger debris, regular cleaning of the strainer is still recommended. The cleaning frequency will depend on your surroundings and how much leaf litter typically collects on your roof and in your gutter system.
